The author, Fredrick A. Rothhaar, who is known as FARO based on the first letters of his name, has over 30 years' experience as a crisis manager in North America, Western Europe, Central Europe, and Russia. In Latin, the abbreviation FARO also means lighthouse. Fredrick A. Rothhaar has chosen Budapest as the base for his international consulting activities.
